Gothic Halloween Wedding Inspiration

Happy Halloween! I love a couple with a little edge, which is why I loved this dark and dramatic themed look. The bold color palette of red, gold, purple, and black looked amazing against the backdrop of the green forest.

Veronica Mera of Baked Goods Unlimited put together an amazing spread. She decorated two beautiful cakes, one with wafer paper roses (yes, she made the roses on that cake!) and another with black birds atop a nest. She also made a few phenomenal treats, including black forest verrines, almond macarons, candied apples, and heart cookies with "love letter" decorations. The best part? We got to have a taste when the shoot was finished and they were even better than they look!

The table setting featured a wow-worthy arrangement from BloomLA and accents like an ornate gold lantern, red candles, and a gold vase. The table number, place cards, and menus were designed by Details by Oksana.

Our models for the day were real-life couple Diana and Michael. It was so much fun to see their chemistry on- and off-camera. She is wearing a crown of dark berries by BloomLA and a Camille La Vie black ball gown with a purple underlay and an elaborately beaded bodice. Erika Marie created Diana's gorgeous curls and Sofia Briana did her breathtakingly bold makeup. Her whole look came together beautifully.

The bouquet and boutonniere both used dark reds and purples with succulent and berry details.

These two are amazing together. Anyone could see how much love they have for each other.
